Dominic Ambrose

Born and raised in Miami, Dominic knew his future was in sports. He has always been a sports fan and offers a unique and honest take on a variety of sports topics. He will ask questions and seek out answers to deliver. He will push to ask the questions that fans want to know and offer his insights on the day in sports.

His favorite sports moment to date came when he was able to attend the Reese’s Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama as a credentialed media member. It was the first time he had been credentialed for a sports event as a media member and he knew he was on the right path. He has enjoyed where his journey in sports has taken him and through his tenacity looks forward to where his journey will ultimately take him.

He began his sports journey in South Florida working with the Dolphins in Community Relations and progressed into the media realm of sports. One of his favorite quotes is “Work isn’t work unless you would rather be doing something else” and that’s how he feels when he talks about sports.

Chris Canty & Chris Carlin

Award-winning hosts Chris Canty – Super Bowl XLVI Champion with the New York Giants – and Chris Carlin will debut a new, national show Canty & Carlin from 3-7 p.m. ET as part of ESPN Radio’s weekday afternoon lineup, beginning Monday, April 25. The show will feature the duo bringing listeners their unique insight on the day’s events and breaking news, as well as getting fans ready for the night’s action with the latest updates, analysis and more. The show will also regularly welcome a full lineup of special guests across sports and entertainment.

Chris is a Super Bowl-champion defensive tackle and spent 11 years in the NFL with the Baltimore Ravens (2013-15), New York Giants (2009-12) and Dallas Cowboys (2005-08). He was a member of the Giants’ Super Bowl XLVI Championship team.

Canty shares insights that only insiders know from the field and locker room, but he’ll push the edges of sports, media, culture and entertainment to make your afternoon drive unlike any other ride.

Canty & Carlin will mark Carlin’s full-time national ESPN Radio debut. The Emmy-winning host most recently led his self-titled show on 98.7FM ESPN New York since 2019. His engaging, opinionated yet humorous style has resonated with audiences throughout his career. Prior to ESPN New York, Carlin had already been a fixture on the New York sports TV and radio scene for over a decade including hosting New York Mets pre and post-game shows and a debate show called Loudmouths on SNY. In addition, Carlin hosted a TV special on SNY, “Scandal in Sayreville,” an investigative look at the bullying scandal in Sayreville, NJ. The story received national attention, and the show won a New York Emmy. He is also the voice for Rutgers football, which he has done since 2004 and has called games for ESPN Radio.

Nathaniel Burks

Born and raised in Indiana, Nathaniel always had a passion for sports from the very beginning. He grew up watching some of the greatest Sports Analysts like Stephen A. Smith and learning from his unique approach. Nathaniel always enjoyed debating sports in his childhood, and high school years. He is all about creating an original perspective on the sports world and how we view it.

Nathaniel graduated from Indiana University in 2022 with a bachelor's degree in Sports Marketing & Management. He started his sports media journey with his internship, JustGoodNetwork and covering all sports. He now has transitioned to ESPN working for the Ballerz and FanZone Podcast.

His favorite sports moment would be Kobe Bryant’s final game of his career in 2016 dropping 60 points at 37 years old. Kobe is a huge inspiration to him and the reason why he is a Lakers fan and has a passion for sports. He is very thankful and blessed to where his sports media journey has taken him so far. His positive mindset keeps him eager and ready to learn from his peers to get 1% better every day.

Joseph Filler

Joseph has always been passionate about sports. He would watch ESPN every day as a kid in addition to playing sports in his free time. This love has transitioned into him pursuing a career in the sports industry here at ESPN SoCal. He is an avid Philadelphia Sports fan. He grew up in New Jersey about 45 minutes south of Philly. Any news or fact regarding the Phillies, Sixers, Eagles, Flyers, or Union, he will be on it. His favorite sports moment would have to be either the Phillies winning the 2008 World Series or the Eagles winning Super Bowl LII. He hopes another professional sports championship can come back to Philadelphia very soon. A fun fact about Joseph is he grew up 25 minutes east of where Indianapolis Colts' Running Back Jonathan Taylor was born and raised, and 25 minutes west of where The Los Angeles Angels' Outfielder Mike Trout was born and raised.
Joseph's passion and love for sports brings a fun and engaging viewpoint on any topic. He resonates with Confucius's quote, "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life", which is exactly how he feels about his profession.
