Sparks Dominate Dream for Sixth Consecutive Win

 The Sparks continue to add to the win column after beating the Atlanta Dream 83-78 in a dominate defensive performance. The Sparks held the Dream to only 26 points in the second half. 

 

Nneka Ogwumike was the player of the game with an impresssive double-double statline with 29 points and 12 rebounds. Ogwumike was efficent from the field making 12 of her 17 shots on the night. Ogwumike also joins elite company becoming the 5th player in the WNBA to record 100+ double-doubles. 

 

"It's chemistry. It's as simple as that," Sparks' head coach Curt Miller said during a postgame press conference.  

 

The Sparks are getting hot at the right time as the WNBA regular season is coming to a close with only 7 games remaining. The Sparks now hold a 15-18 record as the four seed in the Western Conference. For a rebuilding year the Sparks are still able to compete at a high level to build back to their winning ways. 

 

The Sparks' next game will be on the road against a well coached Connecticut Sun this Sunday.
